The new Moorhead Community Education winter catalog will be available Jan. 2, 2015. It includes more than 175 learning opportunities for people of all ages and interests. The starting dates of classes vary.
Winter classes include Home Coffee Brewing, Chinese cooking, and other cooking classes; yoga and dance classes; knitting and craft classes; stained glass and other arts and music classes; online classes you can take from home; and Build a Better Marriage, investment classes, preserving home-grown foods, home brewing, and many more.
Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) began taking registrations for winter classes in December. Classes for parents and children ages infants through kindergarten entry include Family Fun, Marvelous Math, Ones and Twos, Gym Fun, Family Date Night, and many more. ECFE classes are listed in the winter Parenting Press newsletter and Community Education catalog. Classes are open to all residents of Moorhead, Fargo, West Fargo and the surrounding area.
Moorhead residents and past participants receive a catalog in the mail. Moorhead residents with children ages birth to kindergarten entry who are on the school district census receive Parenting Press.
